This is my first experience buying from Haselwood, but my 4th vehicle since 2012 I’ve purchased from the Westhills dealerships (previous a ‘12 Challenger RT, ‘13 Challenger SRT8, ‘13 Wrangler Unlimited, and now ‘19 Silverado 3500). It’s also the 3rd vehicle I’ve purchased from Chad Bass. There are several reasons I’ve specifically given Chad my return business. Service has a lot to do with it. He’s committed to finding you the vehicle you want, working to find a mutually beneficial deal, explaining everything, and following through/following up. We had been texting about this last vehicle (I have now purchased) over several days. Even though he was off work sick, he still went to work finding vehicles and information for me based on my input. When we met he was prepared for my wife and I, he had ideas developed, vehicles prepared to test drive with keys in hand, and information on equipment and pricing. He went over what features the vehicles had based upon specifics I’d told him, and gave me easy to understand comparisons between each. We drove 3 vehicles, looked at half a dozen others, and did full pricing and financing breakdowns of each. We came up with a trade in value for my vehicle I was willing to accept as well. On the day I picked up my truck he had it topped off full of fuel, freshly washed, and waiting for me. We finalized everything. Then he went through all the features and how they worked. He even borrowed a coworkers iPhone cable to setup and walk me through how Apple Carplay works in the truck. He wanted to ensure before I left that he had answered any and all questions. I work in sales. Providing great service to my customers is important to me. So when I encounter someone who treats me how I treat my clients, I tend to stick with them. I like to know I’ll consistently get that same level of service. Buying cars isn’t a fun experience for me. I’m a salesman, so I know the tricks. Chad didn’t through a bunch of bs my way like car salesman I’ve met in the past. He was honest and gave me realistic expectations. He also expressed several times how grateful he was to earn my business again, for a 3rd time now.I’ll keep it brief on my experiences with the rest of the dealership. Everyone I encountered was polite and professional. They were having a bbq the day I picked up my truck. Everyone wanted to make sure I had an opportunity to eat. When I was leaving Lucas in financing asked me if I’d grabbed a pair of the five awsy sunglasses. I had forgot. He gave me his pair and again thanked and congratulated me. I’m not associated or paid in anyway by this dealership (I sell roofing components). Just give me take on a good experience, and details of what I encountered. I think people tend to go into details only in negative experience/feedback. I wanted to give a detailed review of my positive experience. Not just “they were awesome”.
