The in person service with Randy has continued to be a 6 star experience. The only reason the rating above doesn't reflect that is because as of week 3 since I brought it in for a service, the vehicle has been brought back 3 times with issues which as of this time still hasn't been resolved.

My 2012 GMC 3500HD diesel truck was stuck at the Haselwood dealership repair facility between January 13, 2026 and March 19, 2026. This vehicle has been serviced at this facility since new, keeping up with required maintenance. The original reason for the visit was a check engine light coded to a reductant heater which also triggers the truck to go into limp mode. I brought it in for service before the latter took effect. During that time the DEF tank was replaced twice, the DEF pump and lines were replaced twice, the DEF injector was replaced, the wiring harness was replaced possibly twice, the ECM was replaced, the battery (due to all the testing) was replaced, and the mechanic went on vacation (I was informed no one else would work on it that week) and returned. At some point I was told that GM engineers had been engaged to help solve the problem. Troubleshooting had me billed for almost the entire emission system and took two and a half months without resolution. My wife and I met with the service manager at six weeks to express our frustration and, except for his conviction they would have a solution by the end of that week, we waited another four weeks for return of the vehicle. Mechanically sound until this problem came up, and not related to its drivability but to emissions, due to an engineering issue that even the GM engineers were not able to solve. Having replaced many of these parts in the past over the course of ownership, along with head gaskets at 85000 miles, I've spent almost half of the cost of buying the truck to get it to 140000 miles. I expected much more out of a diesel truck and will not recommend GMC or buy another. To add to our frustration and cost has been the addition of rental cars in the past two months. In the past the dealership has had loaner cars available or in October 2025, a van ride home. For this visit, neither was offered and specifically denied for the van as I live 14.9 miles away. Timely updates have not been offered mostly because there has not been any progress.

They got my vehicle in quickly, had to wait for some parts that were found during inspection. Once I got the vehicle back there was an issue, the got it back in immediately, found the issue and got it back to me quickly. Very happy with the service that was provided.

Nick was our salesman, he was friendly, courteous and was not pushy at all. He took the time for us to make our decision and even if it meant waiting he did not push the sale. I ended up with a 2026 Chevy Trax and absolutely love it
